AI Agents / Legal
An agent that reads every page so your fee-earners don’t have to.
We build private AI agents for law firms - trained on your matters, your precedents and your house style. They handle the document-heavy work, with a source behind every line.
“...the Supplier’s total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the preceding three months.”
Liability cap sits below your standard 12-month position.
What It Does
Six jobs, off your fee-earners’ desks
01
Contract review & redlining
Reads agreements against your playbook, flags off-market clauses, and proposes redlines for a fee-earner to approve.
02
Matter intake & triage
Turns intake forms and emails into structured matter records, checks for conflicts, and routes each one to the right team.
03
Legal research
Runs first-pass research and returns a memo with every point cited to a source your associates can verify.
04
Document drafting
Produces first drafts of engagement letters, NDAs and standard filings from your own templates and house style.
05
Disclosure review
Sorts large document sets by relevance and privilege so review starts from a ranked shortlist instead of a blank page.
06
Client updates
Summarises matter activity into plain-English updates, ready for a partner to review and send.
A Day With Your Agent
What it looks like on a live matter
08:30
A new instruction lands
The agent opens the matter, extracts the key dates and parties, runs a conflict check, and creates the file in your DMS.
10:15
A 61-page agreement comes in
The agent reviews it against your playbook and flags four clauses that fall outside your standard position - with the wording quoted.
12:00
An associate asks a question
The agent returns a cited research memo in minutes, not hours - every point linked back to a source the associate can check.
15:40
The weekly client update
The agent drafts a plain-English update from the week’s matter activity and leaves it for the partner to review and send.
17:00
Everything is logged
Every action the agent took that day is recorded, with the source document behind each one - fully auditable.
Provenance
Nothing the agent writes is unsourced.
Every clause flag, research point and summary line links back to the document it came from - so a fee-earner verifies in a click instead of re-reading the file.
Agent output
Liability is capped at three months’ fees - below your standard position.

Confidentiality
Client confidentiality is the default, not a feature.
Private models. Your documents run on private or self-hosted models and never train a public AI system.
Permissions you already have. Access mirrors your existing matter and document permissions - nothing is exposed more widely.
Every action logged. The agent records what it did and which source it used, so any output is fully auditable.
Your jurisdiction. Data stays in the region you require, with deletion on request.
FAQ
Common questions
Does the agent give legal advice?
No. The agent handles first-pass, document-heavy work - reviewing, summarising, drafting and researching. A qualified fee-earner reviews and signs off everything before it reaches a client. It’s a tool for your lawyers, not a replacement for legal judgement.
Where does our client data go?
Your documents run on private or self-hosted models and are never used to train public models. Data stays in the jurisdiction you require, access mirrors your existing matter permissions, and every action is logged and auditable.
Which case management systems do you support?
We connect agents to common document management systems (iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint) and practice management tools (Clio, Actionstep, LEAP), alongside Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. If your firm runs on something else, we scope it during discovery.
How long until it’s useful?
Most firms have an agent in production within 2-4 weeks. We start with one well-defined workflow - often contract review or matter intake - prove it works, then expand.
Who maintains it afterwards?
Your firm owns everything we build. We provide documentation and training so your team can monitor, adjust and extend the agent independently. No lock-in.
